Chelsea Green Children’s Centre follows an emergent play based curriculum. This means that daily activities are based on the interests and skills of the children in the program and also include interests of staff. We believe that learning happens best when children have time and space to play. Through observation and discussions with children in each group, staff plan and implement daily activities that build on past experiences and expand their skills and knowledge. Ontario’s Early Learning Framework is a guide that supports and enhances our curriculum.
